RECCAP Project: Training of 23 stakeholders on the dynamics of vulnerability to HIV/AIDS

ENDA Santé is organising the second training session for trainers on the dynamics of vulnerability to HIV/AIDS. This meeting involves 23 participants from the public sector, NGOs and associations from four countries (Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea Bissau, Guinea and Senegal).

The main objective is to build their health capacity, especially in HIV research.

The training is part of the Capacity Building and Experience Capitalisation for Better HIV Care for Vulnerable Groups in West Africa (ReCCAP) project. Funded by Expertise France-Initiative 5%, this project is implemented by ENDA Santé in Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea Bissau and Senegal, and by the NGO Fraternité Médicale de Guinée in Guinea.

At the end of the first edition held in September 2019, more than 20 referent trainers from 7 countries (Côte d'Ivoire, Niger, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Gambia, Senegal and Mali) had been trained. The Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis, through the Interdisciplinary Research Group for Regional Planning and Local Development Support (GIRARDEL) and the American John Hopkins University of Baltimore are participating in this training, in partnership with ENDA Santé.
