In order to carry out sexual and reproductive health prevention activities among adolescents, ENDA Santé has implemented a peer approach through training workshops for student leaders on STI/HIV/AIDS and early pregnancy in high schools.
On 23 and 24 April 2019, ENDA Santé went to the Lycée Demba Diop in Mbour to train 20 students and 5 teachers to carry out awareness-raising activities among their fellow students and colleagues.
Specific objectives :
- To encourage young people/students to acquire knowledge of the modes of transmission, signs and consequences of STIs and STI/HIV/AIDS prevention;
- To develop with the participants the basic concepts of reproductive health and the prevention of early pregnancies
- Identify and develop communication strategies with participants for wider dissemination of the right information to the youth/student target
