In Senegal, the FEVE project is implemented by ENDA Santé in the areas of Dakar, Mbour, Ziguinchor, Kidira, Tambacounda and in the border areas with Gambia, Guinea-Bissau and Mali.
At the mid-point of the project's implementation, a peer review of the regional programme was conducted in April 2018. This review mainly assessed the effectiveness of the project, the alignment with international targets and the national HIV programme, and the relevance of the interventions.
As a result of this process, recommendations were formulated and shared with the project coordination team. Evaluation meetings conducted by the project officer in December 2018 and January 2019 completed the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the FEVE project implementation and monitoring arrangements.
